Offset Art creates contemporary performance and installation pieces that aim to contribute to community development. Nathan Stoneham – a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of applied performance, sound design and childrens theatre teamed up with Daniel Last, a drama teacher and performer to create Offset Art in 2008. Offset Art strives to place meditative, rejuvenating or joyful arts experiences into public spaces to temporarily transform environments while leaving a lasting positive impact on the general public. Offset Art’s past projects include: Please Keep On The Grass in King George Square as part of National Youth Week, Nok Cha Cafe in Queen Street Mall as part of Brisbane Festival’s Under The Radar and at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, Tea[r] at the Yongpyong International Performance Art Festival, Korea and 2bowls at 2high Festival, Brisbane.
